Love, Peace and Amazing Blessings on Christmas

What a year.  We have so much to be thankful for.

imageAlly turned 5 and started Pre-K in the neighborhood.  She's so smart and growing so fast.   I love this age.  It's the cross between complete cuddle-able and fiercely independent.  And if you follow us on facebook you get to hear her daily Ally-isms that have us all in stitches!

The year started off with a bang.  I formed my business in late 2014 - literally December 30, and began operating in March, having launched on International Women's Day.  In 8 weeks we pulled off a beautifully designed private social community just in time for a terrible oil downturn.  My vision was to have Pink Petro be resource and it's really taken off.

I did a lot of speaking this year, also.  I think all in total, 40 presentations across a wide range of topics.  Here's a snap from the Women's Energy Network Conference where I spoke at the lunch with my friends from Shell about entrepreneurship.  It was fun going to New Orleans with my best friend, Jeni and spending time with some former Shell colleagues.

imageOn the family front, Mark has been an amazing and supportive husband, father and my best friend through this big transition from corporate to having my own gig.  This has been a bold move for us that we weren't sure of but I'm optimistic. Read here more about my lessons learned this year.

Mark and I celebrated 6 years of marriage this summer.  After a rather busy spring and summer, we managed to have a nice staycation in Houston over the 4th of July holiday.

Here's a snap of us just before Ally's 5th birthday.

And here are a few from Ally's birthday party, appropriately themed Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  I still cannot believe we were able to get her to wear a dress that day! :)

Really life couldn't be more amazing.

Love, peace, and blessings to you all on Christmas.
